Windstar Cruises is one of the most sophisticated cruise lines in the world. The company once owned four ships. However it lost one ship, The Wind Song due to a devastating fire in 2002. Some of the places you would visit are the Bahamas, Costa Rica and sail through the magnificent Panama Canal . You could also choose a cruise to Europe and to cities like Barcelona, Pompei i. Also soak up the sun in Europe's beautiful beaches like Ibiza, St. Tropez, Sardinia and Mykonos . Sail to the Greek Isles and visit the historic city of Athens and Istanbul. Windstar Cruises has a fleet of three luxurious ships Wind Surf, Wind Spirit and Wind Star . The Windsurf has a capacity of 308 passengers in 154 deluxe air conditioned staterooms. The Wind Spirit has 74 air conditioned state rooms. The Wind Surf has a total of 154 staterooms and can accommodate a total of 308 passengers. All cruise ships have large public areas and have facilities for maximum fun and enjoyment. There are lounges, bars and restaurants, a library, television and VCR sets and a Salon on board. The restaurant can accommodate all passengers at one time and provide a choice of Oriental and Western Cuisines.

Windstar Cruises encourage you to water sports. Complimentary water-skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, sail boating, snorkeling and snorkel gear. Scuba diving is however available for a fee. Other onboard activities include Internet and Email facilities, Library facilities, a Wind spa and a Salon. There are casinos on board for guests to indulge in some gambling.
